DEVIL FORM

Due to the All Hallows Event Joe will be changing into a full demon.
A full description of his demonic features will be as following:

A majority of Joe's skin will change from human skin tones to bright red color tones. Exceptions will most visibly be his hands/claws, feet/talons, chest upper chest/collar bone/neck area, and his horns which will all be bone white. He will have two horns growing out of his forehead that form a familiar V shape; between them will be a round growth that is a shiny yellow color. His teeth will elongate into fangs and his eyes will turn into a bright yellow color while his sockets darken into an almost black feature. His ears will elongate into points. Joe's hands will thin out into nothing but bone and muscle, giving them a sickly elongated look; added with the white coloration his hands will look like creepy bone-claws that reach up to the middle of his forearms where they fade into the red color tone of the rest of him. His feet become talon-like and feature the same bone white to stained red coloration as his claw-hands. In the middle of his chest (actually just below the pectoral muscles) a glowing ember spot forms; it's glow undulates with his breathing and small tendrils spread out from it which look vaguely like veins of lava. This ember feature is also visible on his back. His wings spread wide into a bat-like webbing of leather; they are a light pink with a slightly darker tinge on the outside versus the inside lining. His tail is long and thin, and it ends with a small, squishy spade on the tip.

For reference:
Joe's Henshin outfit is the basis for the shape of his horns, his red and white coloration, his yellow eyes and black sockets, and the pink color of his wings a direct correlation to his scarf.
Joe's demonic skin, horn, and wing texture see this picture for basis. His claws and talons are also heavily based upon this design. As well as his fog form (described below).
His wings and tail shape, however, more closely resemble Alastor's features of bat-like wings and spaded tail.

FOG DEVIL FORM

-additional skin color tone changes to cover the whole body
-two additional horns growing out of the side of his head similar to Sparda's horns
-eyes lose all features and become simply yellow glowing spots; black around eyes spreads outward to cover the entirety of his upper face
-hair becomes hardened spikes including his goatee; gains more hardened spikes elsewhere and sharper features in general
-glowing ember-like chest feature spreads out and becomes more volatile; additionally, his skin and the air around him raises in temperature as his fire element becomes less controlled and more wild, and much more likely to hurt someone
-his wings darken to a blood-red on the outside and a darker pink on the inside; the glowing lava veins appear prominently on the inside of his wings and sometimes show through as a darker color on the outside when he uses fire elementals
-his tail becomes thicker, sturdier, and the spade hardens into a sharp blade quality

MANTICORE FORM

Normal form features:

Bright red fur based off his Henshin.
→This fur will cover his arms, back, legs, lower torso, ears, and tail.
→However his hands, feet, and a tuff growing out of his upper chest will be solid white.
→His tail will be poofy as seen in this picture of a somali cat and vaguely similar to a fox's tail for it. Have fun with that.

Cat ears that will shift to a higher position on his head to match where a feline's ears typically are.
→He will continue to wear the three silver cuff earrings in his left ear.
→Tag descriptions will indicate whether he is stuffing them under his hat or missing his hat instead on a case by case basis. Assume hat unless specified.

Yellow cat eyes that reflect light in the dark.
→They will be slit shaped like domestic cat's eyes.
→They will dilate quickly in and out of light/darkness as a cat's eyes do. Now stop blinding him with that flashlight.

Whiskers on his face.
→These will grow out of his upper lip and eyebrow areas.
→They will be sensitive to light touches and possibly make him flinch away from unknown objects.
→But the area where they grow from will also be really susceptible to petting. Mmm, that feels good.

Sharp fangs and shearing, scissor like cat teeth.
→It will be almost impossible for Joe to chew anything other than meat.
→Thankfully, cheeseburgers consist mostly of meat. Now watch him choke them down as best he can.

Claws that will match the white fur on both his hands and feet.
→His feet will become cat's paws and his legs will shift into digitigrade anatomy.
→His hands will have pads and look slightly more paw-like but he will still have enough dexterity to use them as humanoid hands.
→All his claws are retractable though the tips show even while retracted. (If you can find them in the white fur.)

Scorpion stinger attached to a feline's tail.
→As stated previously, this tail will be covered in red fur and appear somewhat similar to a fox's tail even though it's cat's fur.
→The scorpion chitin at the end will not be visible most times but it will be felt if the tail tip is grabbed.
→The few sections of chitin have tiny pin-pricks and spiky protrusions covering each section. Do not touch or risk getting poked!
→The venomous barb at the end will also be hard to spot visually but is no less potent. Again, be very careful when petting!
→The tail will move and act similar to that of a feline rather than a canine or a scorpion.

Large, bat-like wings that will grant him flight.
→The bone fingers will be visible holding out the soft, leathery membrane.
→They will have sharp claws on them.
→Visually they are very similar to Alastor's devil wings, simply on a larger scale.
→They are light pink in coloration, very similar to his Henshin outfit's scarf. (In fact, much of his coloration is based off his Henshin outfit.)

Additional advantages/weaknesses:

Increased speed and jumping ability.
→Manticores are very fast and can leap far to pounce on their prey.
→Joe will adjust to this naturally since he actually gains this with his Henshin in canon.

Sharpened senses.
→Manticores have sharper senses of eyesight, hearing, and smell than humans.
→Some of this, however, may cause problems for Joe at first. Will likely be adjusted by the time he becomes a Manticore though since Devils are similar.

Weakness to cold.
→Manticores can tolerate high levels of heat, but will be weakened by freezing weather. They become easier to kill as the temperature drops.
→Wait, wasn't this canon already? /shot

Hunger and hunting instinct.
→Manticores are strictly carnivores and prefer to hunt their own food down. Hunting animals will satiate them for a short time, but the longer they go without hunting a human, the more they'll be compelled to do so until they start losing their self-control.
→Joe will not be happy about this and will need several whacks on the head to force him into hunting/eating humans. He will likely lose control more than once at the on-set of this compulsion. And this will likely still be an issue beyond his time as a Devil.

The ability to change into a cat.
→In this form Joe will be able to travel faster, however, he will also be more vulnerable.
→This form will be based upon the the somali cat. Now seen with a beanie when he transforms! All thanks to Haruka. c:
→He prefers back and belly rubs over ear scritches. What do you mean that's more like a dog trait? Hiss!

Fog form:

All of the above plus he will gain--

More fur. As if it didn't cover nearly everything already?
→The white tuff on his chest will spread to cover his whole collar and neck areas.
→The rest of his chest and belly will fill in with red fur.
→Black fur will surround his eyes and temples. The rest of his face/head will be red, of course.
→See his Henshin for inspiration.

A flaming lion's mane and horns. Wait, what?
→Based off Fire Leo from Joe's canon. (Yes, that's supposed to be a lion not a dog.)
→Flames are visual effect only and have no substance nor the ability to burn.
→The horns are twisted and misshapen like Fire Leo's however they do form a rough V shape reminiscent of Joe's Henshin form.
→Additionally there is an odd, yellowish growth between the horns (again, a feature reminiscent of Joe's Henshin).

Elongated snout. His face will grow more lion-like in feature.
→Cat nose and general snout shape included.
→It's much less confused with a dog's shape than Fire Leo, I swear.

Longer arms for the ability to run fast on all fours.
→And he will look ridiculous doing it, too.

Larger, more deadly tail.
→More scorpion chitin will grow down his tail so it covers nearly all of it. (He will shed this chitin like an arachnid after each Fog has ended.)
→The fur will thin out considerably to reveal this chitin growth beneath it.
→The chitin will grow larger spiky protrusions and the barb will be much more prominent.

Longer, sharper claws.
→This includes the hand and feet claws as well as the wing claws.
→And they are no longer retractable so they're quite prominent now, basically.

RUNES

A side effect from the All Hallows Event, Joe received runes from the dying Mountain God at the end of the event. There are two distinctive runes:

On the back of his right hand:
→is a stylish Pink V.
→with a faint outline of a movie reel behind it.
→it faces Joe so that: A, he can easily admire it; and B, it appears correctly to others when he performs his VJ handsign.

On his left shoulder blade:
→is a "tribal tattoo" inspired rune that changes with the monster form he takes.
→as a devil it appeared as a manticore curled around itself with its wings slightly lifted.
→as a manticore it appears as a bat-like devil, again in a circular motif.

NOTABLE POSSESSIONS

Treehouse located slightly north of Vandare.

→was acquired by Alastor from Tikbalang a little before Joe arrived in Ryslig.
→was inherited by Joe after Alastor disappeared.
→it's one room, shack sized, with a stove and a minimum of furniture and supply space.
→most notable piece of furniture is a very large bean bag used as a bed.
→the entrance is a doorway located over a thick branch. there are no stairs, rope, or ladder leading to it.
→a wooden patio has recently been added by Joe for easier landings and can accommodate one chair plus space to still land without running into it. no railings though so it's still kinda treacherous. (good job, Joe.)
→it's grown a bit messy without it's original tenant to remind Joe to pick up his various nonsense.

Six Machine acquired via Mana through a quest that brought it to Ryslig from Movieland.

→it's an aircraft for a superhero!
→it's kinda been turned into an electrical/magical item in Ryslig.
→it has no weapons, no mock speed capabilities, and does not transform into other vehicle types.
→this is okay, Joe is still super excited to have it.
→it's controlled by telepathy and responds to Joe's commands whether he's in the cockpit or not.
→a friend could still hop in and control it's flight pattern by the physical controls but it won't be as smooth and it'll always return to Joe when he summons it telepathically.
→it speaks in nearly indistinguishable computer-modulated voice sounds, but if it's sentient it's not telling anyone. it mostly repeats various phrases that may or may not be pre-recorded audio bytes.
→it's favorite food is ramen.
→wait, what?
DISMANTLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
yep, you read that right. Joe dismantled his beloved Six Machine due to it being a fake and more importantly its desire to run over pedestrians whenever he's in a city. kinda makes it hard to be a superhero when your ride keeps wanting to murder people, no? so yeah. it can be found on the ground outside of the treehouse. it's covered with a tarp but otherwise just... sitting there... out in the open... in dismantled pieces of useless parts.

→originally gave him the ability to transform into a superhero, here in Ryslig it's simply a cool accessory. maybe one day he'll find a way to activate it in Ryslig just like how it worked in Movieland...
